Having previously partnered with London + Regional Hotels (L+R) on other successful projects, we were trusted once again to deliver a high-impact activation at Strand Palace — one of London’s most historic hotels, located at the heart of the West End.
We were tasked with creating and launching a festive experience to unlock a new family audience, transform unused space, and drive incremental revenue during the critical holiday season. The result: Santa’s Grotto at Strand Palace, a magical, fully immersive activation that delivered £123,000 in direct sales across the Christmas period.
THE TRANSFORMATION
Our approach involved reimagining the hotel’s basement space — traditionally underused — into a fully themed Christmas Grotto experience. By introducing high-profile brand collaborations and implementing an end-to-end commercial strategy, we were able to deliver both operational success and strong financial returns.
The Grotto quickly became a standout seasonal attraction, reinforcing Strand Palace’s positioning as a vibrant, family-friendly destination in central London.
